Mmm mmm good!

Yum yum yummm!! I have been craving fruit tartlets for quite a while now! Yesterday I finally made some of my own. I guess I didn't realize how long they would take to make (and refrigerate!) Anyways, they turned out great and really delicious!! 
It has been a while since I have posted a picture, so I hope this one will make everyone happy!



They were super easy to make (just a little time consuming, as in you have to wait for them to refrigerate. If you want the recipe I can email it to you.

My take on AI...

Matt Giraud is the most worthless person on American Idol and in no way is he anything compared to Michael Buble! How dare the judges try to compare him to Michael Buble. What a horrible, rotten, and stupid thing to say! 

Adam Lambert's take on The Ring of Fire was very interesting, but it kind of reminded me of someone possessed by Satan, or something like that. Needless to say it freaked me out a bit.  

Kris Allen and Anoop were great, and I hope to see more of them on this show. I was very upset that they didn't keep Jasmine on the show because she was great, they just needed to give her some time to make friends with the stage. I think this season is kind of (please don't beat me for saying this) lame. If there were anything else on at 7 on Tuesday, I would watch it. Unfortunately all of the tv producers thought it would be stupid to try to compete with American Idol. 

Congratulations me!!

It has been 3 hours since the last time I threw up! Yay! No, I am not pregnant!  I have been sick for the past couple of days, only a sore throat, stuffy nose, and stomach ache. This morning I woke up at around 4 not being able to breathe. I got up to blow my nose and started coughing. I got back to sleep and woke up at about 7 and threw up. I threw up multiple times after that and finally stopped at around 10:30. Yay for not throwing up! 

HBO Boycott

You should have heard by now the show Big Love on HBO is going to air an episode that shows specific details of some sacred ceremonies that go on in the LDS religion. I think this is ridiculous, obviously the church doesn't want these things broadcasted, but HBO simply doesn't care. I am upset about this and feel like I need to spread the word to boycott HBO! Stop watching HBO! Not that there is anything on HBO anyways!

Spring Cleaning

We did some spring cleaning yesterday and it felt great. We really needed to get rid of some of the things we had. Since we have been married, we have accumulated quite a bit of things. We don't even need some of the things anymore, so we decided to get rid of them. I have a hard time getting rid of things, but I think I did a great job at letting go. I filled up 3 plastic bags with things to get rid of! Ok, they were grocery bags! But I'm still pleased with myself!!

We dusted, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen, did all of the dishes, cleared out both of our closets, and cleaned our bedroom! 

Overall, I think we had an extremely productive weekend!!!

On a side note.

A week or two ago I got my very first credit card application! Haha, I have never gotten an application for a credit card, EVER!

Ok ok, I will admit it, I enjoy watching infomercials, I really do. There is something about them that just sucks me in. I turned on the television and the channel was on surprise surprise, an INFOMERCIAL!! Anyways.. I thought you mothers out there might find this interesting. I thought it was really neat, and not even expensive! YourBabyCanRead.com check it out if you want, I think it's really neat, and if it doesn't work, it was only 15 bucks

It is COLD

Outside and INSIDE our apartment. I woke up this morning around 7 and my face was pretty cold. I tried to remember if I had turned off the last night while watching a movie. Nope, the thermostat said the heat was on, but it was 60 degrees in here! Dang it! The pilot light went out! I stood there for a minute trying to decide if I should call the repairman and have him light it or if I really just didn't care and should leave it that way. Now normally I would immediately call the repairman and have him come over ASAP to fix my heat, but now that our gas bill has been extremely absurd for the past two months(It's nothing compared to my cousins utility bill, but it is still upsetting for a one bedroom apartment) I'm not sure if I want to help out the stupid utilities company and give them more money.  I am now relaxing on my couch at about 8:30 doing my usual blog sweep, with about 4 layers of blankets. I curse the day I decided not to bring my electrical blanket with me! Hopefully it starts to warm up a bit!
