Just to document. I don't think I took any pictures. Yes, I'm a slacker, oh well.
Valentine's started off at 7 am. Thank you Evie for my first Valentine present of the day (sleeping in). Shortly thereafter we took Jason to school.
While at home we cleaned up, and of course we played, then eventually napped.
After we finally got Jason, later in the afternoon, he said we had to pick something up. So off we went on a little adventure... Aka turning into two different shopping centers before finally finding the right place. We drove past a spa but didn't stop there. A couple of shops down he found what he was looking for and came back out with a beautiful, and delicious, edible arrangement. When we got home we all partook of some chocolate covered strawberries before going out for dinner.
Side story:
Probably two weeks before Valentine's, Jason told me we could finally go to the melting pot. They had a lunch special going on for $45 for a couple including tax and tip. I was stoked. I called and made a reservation. Except the reservation was more than a reservation because I had to pay for it right then on the phone in order to "reserve" a table at that time for that price (which was at 11 am). So I did! It was the last time left, I had to act. Unfortunately, I was really dumb and forgot to check Jason's schedule before purchasing. Oops. I found out Jason had a required class that he wouldn't be able to get out of and he wouldn't be finished until way later that afternoon. Gah! I sent out an email and someone graciously (although they were pretty lucky being able to eat there for $45) bought the reservation from me. Although after that we didn't really have a place we were going to eat. Pesce Fresco was booked up and we decided the Crepe place we thought of going to would be better on a less important day (neither of us had been to it and we didn't want it to make us sick or have it turn out to be gross on Valentine's day).
We went to Olive Garden around 4. Good thing we did because as we were leaving around 5:30 the place was pretty packed. The food was delicious as usual.
When we got home Evie and I played for a little bit before bedtime and Jason went right back to studying.
It was a really nice and delicious way to spend the day.

Snow!
February 7
We got quite a bit of snow over the weekend, and it snowed again last night and this morning. I bundled Evie up. Put some really cute tiny gloves on her, took her outside, and let her play.

There was water dripping from the roof and she kept going over to stand under it.

Then she fell. She didn't really even mind the snow in her face. No crying or complaining there. Actually, the only time she cried was when I took her inside.

Present
January 26, 2012
We got Evie a sand and water table for her birthday. Today was about 59 degrees and Evie loves to be outside, so I finally set up the table. I haven't gotten sand for it yet, but I filled it up with water and we played outside for quite a while!

She loved playing with the toys that came with the table

(Don't worry, I filled it with tap water)
Getting a drink

She kept putting the bucket on her head. It would fall off and she would just keep putting it back on

Birthday girl!
We had a birthday here on the 17th! It's crazy we have a one year old! I gave Evie a cupcake on her birthday and she opened two presents. (Those pictures are at the bottom) We had a birthday party for Evie. We had a lot of fun. Evie just loved having friends over to play with. I'm sure she enjoyed the cake and the candy too. Thanks to everyone who came! We loved having you over!

Christmas
We spent Christmas in Montana. Evie was still sleepy when she started opening presents. She like ripping the paper.

Really fun stacking toy! She loved playing with the rings!

She got sooo many clothes!

We went up to wolf point to visit Jason's grandma. Evie got to meet Jason's cousin's kid and they had sooo much fun running around together!
(chantal, I want to read your blog! If you leave your email or phone number in a comment I will send you my email. I won't post your email in the comments)

11 months old
Can you believe it? Time goes by too quickly! She is so funny and smart. Her personality is so funny, although stubborn like both her parents. She'll say "mama" "Dada" "hi" "eieio" (she loves singing and music, especially old McDonald) she'll do a surprised face and gasp after we do it. She LOVES running around. She mastered walking over a month ago and now she just keeps getting faster. She loves to "help" unload the dishwasher, aka try to climb in, pull dishes out and carry them around. She loves to open the drawer under her bed where we keep her clothes, and pull them out. She loves people!
When I have my camera out she will try to grab it so I have to be quick. She loves eating pizza (dough and pizza sauce). She loves to be in the action, if we're cooking in the kitchen she will need to be in there with us.
She loves to read her books. She'll pull them off the shelf in her room and open them up. We read stories every night as part of bedtime.
she'll throw her food on the floor when she is finished eating/doesn't want it.
She recently started to wag her finger (like she's saying no).

Pan surfing?
Here is a pic to hold you over until the "real" new posts come!
(picture taken about a month ago... ish)

My little busy body! She loves to follow me into the kitchen and open and close all of the cupboards. This time she opened the cupboard with the pots and pans. Shen then proceeded to take out our smallest frying pan and "skate" around the kitchen partially in the pan.
