Christmas 2013

So tired.

We went to the pet store and this puppy was one month older than Jackson.

Santa came. The kids got entirely too many presents.

Jacks and his loot. Evie got all the books and gave this mother goose treasury to her brother. It was very sweet. (He also got a new carseat and an o'ball set)

We had a great Christmas at home with our little family. It was a great somewhat relaxing day. We hung out in our jammies and watched Christmas movies and played with toys. In the afternoon we made dinner and got to talk with Kate. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas and hope that we can remember Christ throughout the year.

Disneyland day two Part two

We spent $8 on that balloon. It was well worth it. It kept Evie from a meltdown a couple of times. It was wonderful.

In Arizona, waiting for our flight to Denver. I was pleasantly surprised to find that really close to our gate was a children's play area. 

While playing, Evie made a friend at the airport, his name was Aldo. Pretty sure the dog was on duty, but was kind enough to say hello to Evie.

So tired and ready to go home. 

We reserved super shuttle to get us home from the airport... Well, we waited and waited for the guy, he finally showed up, and it was our turn to get on... Then he said we couldn't use two carseats... We have two children, of course we're gonna use two car seats! He kept telling us one of the kids had to sit on a lap because there wasn't enough room. This really pissed us off. So he wanted us to choose which child we would keep safe in the event of a crash?! I don't think so! I'm too lazy to write the rest so i took a screenshot from when I posted on instagram.

Disneyland 2013 day two part one

We went on a couple of rides including the finding Nemo ride and the alice in wonderland ride. Jason was about to take Evie to ride the teacups and we saw Captain Hook. Evie is a big fan of Hook, so we had to stop and say hi. We followed him for a minute to catch up, he was taking a picture/signing someone's book when we caught up. Evie ran over to him and I took a couple of pictures of what happened.

Some kids wanted to get pictures taken with Hook, but he kept walking. It was pretty funny.

I got her back and she went on the teacup ride with Jason. 

She loved it!

 No one is home! She loves this door.

Best money spent in Disneyland. So awesome! I can't wait to get a frame for it so I can hang it up!

We saw Beauty and the Beast at the story time theater. I didn't even know it existed! We went to the theater right after getting a dole pineapple whip... meh, I probably won't get one again, but it was worth the try. 

It was fantastic! Belle had the perfect voice that matched the movie voice extremely well! I was very impressed. 

We got to see santa!

On our way out of the park. Evie had removed her socks and shoes, she was ready to go. 

We stayed at the Ramada really close to the park. We were able to see the fireworks from our room. and the walk to and from the park was really quick and easy especially with the two kiddos.

Saying hi to Olaf. I waited for about 2 hours in the line to meet Elsa and Anna, but about 5 minutes (5 people in front of me) before it was our turn, Evie had a huge meltdown with Evie and I had to get out of line. Ugh! We never ended up meeting them. Evie and Jason did get to see them while they went on a lunch break.

Eating at the Blue Bayou. Evie broke the ice cube light about ten minutes after leaving the restaurant.

Got Jackson a first visit button.

We went to California Adventure and Evie LOVED the interactive show with Mickey, princess sofia, and Jake. 

So entertained.

"No one is home!" She tried knocking, but no one came to the door. 

We rode on Flik's flyers (I think that's what it's called).

We also rode on the caterpillar ride.
