We have been trying to sell our apartment contract since the very beginning of March. We wanted to find someone to take over our contract so they could move in as soon as we left for the summer. March passed and it was April I became more diligent in posting our apartment on different websites trying to get it advertised. April flew by, we had people come look at the apartment and told us they really liked it, but no one signed the contract. The time came when we had to leave Provo to come up to Montana and I was very frustrated that no one had signed our contract! We had people who lived at the same complex as we did and they put up their contract on one Saturday and had people sign their contract that same day! I was soooo frustrated! We are up in Montana now and have had one person look at the apartment while we are up here (my mom went down and opened up the apartment). I got a phone call this morning from someone wanting to look at the apartment I called my mom and no one was home, I called my brother and he said he could go over and open up the apartment for the people. What a relief. I didn't really have high expectations that the people would purchase our contract because we have been trying to sell it for quite a few months. We offered to pay the entire month of May and still no one had wanted to take it yet. The couple looked at the apartment and told me they wanted it and they went down to the office and signed the contract!!!

WOOHOOO!!! I feel like a weight has been lifted and although I feel a little stress from not being down there to make sure EVERYTHING goes perfectly, I feel good to finally not have to worry about selling our contract!

Mother's day!

Happy mother's day to all you mommies out there.
Happy Mother's day to my mom especially. I honestly know I have and know some of the best moms in the world. I am so excited to be a mom because my mom is such a good mom to me and my siblings. Happy Mother's day! I have been so blessed with having such great mothers in my life. They have all shown me great examples of how to be a great mom and a great person in general. I'm especially grateful for my mom, my best friends mom A.K.A. my second mom Cathy, and Jason's mom Rita. They are so extremely generous, loving, and kind I just hope that when I am a mom I can be just like them.

Speaking of Mother's day, yesterday Jason went to the store and was gone for like 2 1/2 hours. When he got back he told me to come upstairs and showed me what he got for his mom for mother's day. Beautiful roses, the book Love you Forever, and a very sweet card, he then sent me to the kitchen and I found this on the kitchen table!



What a little sweet! he told me when we first got married that he wasn't going to get me a mother's day gift until I was a mom, but I had been asking for one of these for quite a while and he saw it at walmart for only $50 so he went to the cash register to pay for it. They rang it up and and it was only $25!!!!! What an amazing husband!

We are alive!

I apologize for how long it has taken me to write this blog! Good grief! Life has been pretty busy. Jason and I finished the semester and are now up in Montana for the first part of the summer.
We got up here without any major problems with our vehicles, I almost ran out of gas and had no cell phone reception to call Jason. I finally got his attention and we barely made it to the nearest town with a gas station. Other than that our trip was great.
We have been having a great time up here. Jason is doing some volunteer work for the week and then will be paid while shadowing doctors at the hospital. Right now I am looking for a job, so I can pay for school.

Today, Denny and I went to some garage sales and the home depot. We found some pretty good deals at our first two garage sales. We got a couple of toys for my nephew Z and took them over. He is just about 3 years old and is just a little boy who loves playing outside and getting dirty. We got him a basket full of little dinosaurs and a brand new little paint kit for the bathtub! He played with the dinosaurs and then we showed him the paint set and he grabbed it and ran inside. His parents had just finished painting his room and apparently he wanted to help so he went to his room. His dad rushed after him and reminded him it is a toy for the bathtub and that he could play with it when he took a bath. Hopefully it will help the kid be a little more excited for bath time, I know I certainly would be!

LONG TIME

It's about time I updated the blog! Sorry for the long absence, but life has been pretty busy. We are both preparing for, and taking our finals this week, and moving next week.
Yes, we are moving up to Montana over the first half of the summer and then coming back to Provo to go to school. I will post a longer blog when we get up to Montana and explain what has been going on in our lives for the past couple weeks.

MCAT!!!

I am so proud of Jason! He took the mcat this morning. He won't find out how he did until next month! It's ridiculous we have to wait that long to find out how he did, but there's nothing we can do about it.  

Our day started out with Jason waking up to study as much as he could until the test. I went and got Jason an Ernie's Champ for breakfast, and then I went to Albertson's to get him something to eat during the test. When I got home from my little excursion I grabbed Jason and we went to the "testing center." We pulled up and the parking lot seemed fairly empty, Jason stayed in the car and continued to study (we got there about 15 minutes early). He left his phone with me because he couldn't take it with him into the test. He told me that he should be finished by 5:20 and I should plan on being there by then.  

I went to my moms and hung out there all day while Jason was taking his test. It was quite a lot of fun! Janna and I went to Wal*Mart to get some flowers to make a flower arrangement for her final. We (I helped) made an amazing arrangement, if she doesn't get an A for that project, the teacher must be on drugs. We visited the fish, and then got some seeds for flowers, and a STRAWBERRY PLANT!!! It was tons of fun!

My mom, Kate, and Penny went to the Young Womens conference, and Janna went to the festival of colors, so I had the house to myself!! I ended up watching ANTM until 5 and then got in the car to get Jason. 

When I took him to the testing place we took the freeway. When I went to get him however I took a shorter path. I am a pretty observant person while driving, and I noticed someone walking on the side of the road, and I realized it was JASON! Ahh, I quickly pulled over and had to honk to get his attention. He finished at 4:30 and had started to walk home (well, to my moms house)!!!!

Anyways, I am hoping he did well on his test, and I am sure he did! He is ridiculously smart!! I guess we'll find out how well he did, and if he will need to take it again in a month...

Twins?

These two men look so much alike to me. I have been watching I dream of Jeannie the past couple of days and while watching it I realized Major Neilson and Matthew fox (from lost) look so much alike! Wouldn't you agree?! (except for the age difference of course)
