Jason had an interview at the university of Utah earlier this month and we decided to make a trip of it. We headed to Utah on the 12th, a great friend of ours took me and the kids to the airport and Jason met us there. (He had been in Montana and flew in that morning).
Riding on the train to get to our terminal.
Southwest had wii u's set up and we got to play while waiting for our flight.
Evie got to open a couple presents while we were there so she could have something to play with.
Somebody loves playing with makeup when she can find it.
Shopping at h&m in Utah.
"what are these things doing in my carseat?"
Again with the make-up...
Every year my mom gets together with her friends and does candy making. This is Evie and one of my mom's friend's daughter.
Everyone who was still around at the end of candy making.
After candy making we went to Tucanos with Jason's parents, and my parents. After Tucanos Jason's parents headed up to the Jazz game and the rest of us walked around the river woods.
It was chilly.
We got to see Santa again!
They had some really cool/pretty lights.
The next day Jason gave Jackson a blessing in the bishop's office after church. I bought a really cute white outfit for his blessing (before he was born) I tried to make sure to get it a little bigger because Evie was a bit big the first couple of months and barely fit into her blessing dress, and I didn't want that problem again. It looked like it would fit, but apparently looks can be deceiving! I went to the mother's lounge to change Jackson and the poor thing couldn't fit into the outfit. :( I tried, but I couldn't fit both arms into the outfit and so we just blessed him in the outfit he wore to church, wrapped in the same blanket we used when Evie was blessed. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures, and since he didn't fit in the blessing outfit, I didn't get pictures of him in it either. I will most likely be selling the outfit because, even if I do have another boy, he might not fit into it either.
After the blessing, we had an early dinner at my parent's house and Jason rode with his parents up to Montana for an interview there and then we would meet again in San Bernadino, California on Wednesday.
I don't even know what to say about this picture.
Found the hidden squirrel.
We went to the new Provo Rec Center. It was amazing! Some really cool stuff. there is a water playground/playhouse, jumping from a waterfall, lazy river, and watersides, among other things.
We also went to the Brick Oven, of course. Evie requested a mickey mouse balloon.
Paul holding Jackson.
We got to see Roxie. She and Evie get along quite well. This is their farewell hand hug.
We also got to see Olivia for a couple of minutes before we went to Evie's haircut. This picture is of Evie complimenting Olivia's earrings.
During the haircut.
I made some special candy for my pixie pal this year. Homemade Andie's mints and homemade reek's peanut butter cups.
We went to Scheel's and rode the ferris wheel.
Took a picture with a moose.
Jackson and George.
Got to pose with some friendly animals.
I hid a bag of peanut m&m's behind the couch one day. The next day Evie started crying and I came into the living room to see her stuck behind the couch. She was trying to get the peanut m&m's.
Janna got Evie this hat for Christmas.
On our way up to the airport we got to stop to see my grandma. She kept saying she was fat and sassy.
