Catch up- A million picture update.

Way back in August we went to Hibachi san for Jason's birthday dinner.

I made matching "quilts" for Evie and baby boy, here is Evie trying hers out.

This is baby boy's blanket.

Jason had us take him to work one of the days he worked overnight and the next morning we went to the zoo while we waited for him to finish. Evie saw this peacock and it followed her around for a couple of minutes.

"Look, I'm a backpack?"

Crazy outfit, with elmo gloves!

I colored a track with chalk in our little backyard area for Evie to ride her bike around. She LOVED it! She even told me to take a picture of her.

We were invited to the "beach" a couple weeks ago. It was the perfect beach day. Overcast, but still warm. We were pretty much the only people there. Evie was in heaven! (Funny side story, our power went out 10 minutes before we were to leave and I had been trying to decide if I wanted to go. Well, when the power went out, it made up my mind for me and we went).

Evie's friend Noelle had this awesome water toy and was nice enough to share.

It was funny watching them get on for like 5 seconds and then fall off.

Her hair after the beach. I'm quite jealous!

Reading a story to her doll before nap.

We are doing a pre-school co-op for the little kids in our ward. So far it's been great, the kids have such short attention spans, but I think each week it gets better and better. Evie absolutely loves it. We would go to the store and Evie would tell everyone she was going to pre-school. Anyway.... we didn't have enough seating for the little kids at our first pre-school, so we had to borrow some from our friends while we waited for our tables to come in. We ended up getting these picnic tables (2 of them). Evie LOVES them and I'm so excited to use them with all the kids!

We went to a dress up birthday party! Dress up as a favorite disney character. Minnie mouse was a favorite, there were so many cute "costumes" some of the other mommies came up with, I was quite impressed!

We went to the babies'r'us/ toys'r'us grand opening. It was so much fun, other than whiney children... Haha.

Evie followed the giraffe around the entire store! She loved saying hi to him and the other characters.

Evie wanted to take a picture of Janna while doing facetime.

peekaboo!

A couple of weeks ago I got called as relief society secretary (more on that later). We planned the visiting teaching conference and went to Ikea to pick up picture frames that we were going to use as the center pieces.
Evie came to help me. We walked through the showroom and Evie got a little fox that sings when you pull the tail. We got our picture frames and were about to head to check out and Evie told me she wanted another fox. I told her no. She then said, "I need one for my baby brother." Needless to say we went back upstairs and got a fox for her baby brother.

We had some crazy floods/weather. It was crazy. We had flash flood warnings for a couple of days, roads were closed, and it was insane. We got flooded twice. The first time was pretty light and cleaned up very quickly. The second time was CRAZY! We got some hail. This picture is the hail mixed with the crazy amounts of flash flood rain. It looked like snow.

We used pretty much any possible fabric/towel/blanket to clean up the water. We were soaking up the water for a while, ringing them out, and soaking up more water.

Here's the picture frame for the visiting teaching conference.

Went to the zoo again while Jason did a presentation.

Homemade corn dogs. SOOO GOOD!!!

Sent my siblings this picture to show them how many clothes this kids has already. Top left picture isn't even the drawer with all newborn sized clothes. Hopefully they fit!

Evie let me do her hair for church two weeks ago. I think it turned out so cute!

She didn't really care.

Looking through old pictures, Oh boy do I miss those rolls!!!

Pre-school story time. They are sitting on a toddler couch that the girl's husband MADE! It was awesome!

I use the WTE app on my phone and one of the girls said something like, "think I have enough socks?" then said she had about 40 pairs. I thought that was a lot, but her picture didn't look like a lot and I was curious how many I had, so the other night I counted.... 81! Oh my goodness, 81 pairs of newborn socks, and I didn't buy a single pair!

A couple of days ago we had our visiting teacher over and got a knock on our back door. We weren't expecting anything so didn't really know who it could be. We went to the door and it was our next door neighbor. She said she had gotten my jo-ann flyer in the mail and also made some stuff for Evie and me. We opened it up and HOLY COW! She made Evie this gorgeous hat and scarf...

And this STUNNING jacket and hat! I LOVE IT! She also made me a little black bag, but lets be honest, I'm sure Evie will be using it more than me.

I'm going to do another post soon, so it's not a complete photo dump next time!
