I didn't forget Christmas, I PROMISE! (Super long- this is a warning)

I missed out on the Christmas post so I figured I'd better do it before the blogging police come around...
Christmas eve we (Jason, I, and his parents) went over to my parents house for Christmas eve dinner and program. Denny (Jason's dad) made a very HUGE and very delicious roast for us to eat. After din we started our program, which consisted of watching the nativity movie. When the movie was about over we had some unexpected visitors, Crystal and Preston. We finished the movie and did pixie pal presents! There were so many neat things that were made! I had my dad and made him a HOME sign that is an apron hanger, or key holder. Janna had me and she MADE me an APRON!!! It's so cute! When I went to put it on, I realized it was ripped, so she took it over night and sewed it right back up, but then there was another problem spot, so I need to get that back from her. My mom had Janna and got her an apron too! (She got her more, but I can't remember.) I can't remember what Penny or Kate made, but my dad got Penny and made her a wooden thing that she can make her own scarves with! It is soooo cool! Tanner and Jason had each other, and surprisingly they pretty much got each other the same thing! Tanner got Jason a picture frame with Christ next to the tomb and then there was an empty spot for Jason to put a picture of himself next to the tomb. It was so neat, and very thoughtful! Jason got Tanner a picture frame too, but it had the front cover of the 2008 October General Conference Ensign, and facing the Ensign cover was the page from the Ensign with Tan in the picture.
After pixies my mom gave everyone jammies and we went home to sleep. At around 7:30 am (the latest I have ever gotten up for Christmas morning, including last year when we were up in Montana. I woke up early and did Christmas with my family through video chat) Jason and I went over to my parents house and opened presents at 8. One of my favorite gifts was from my dad. He made each of us a little wooden jewelry box. They are so pretty! We had such a great time watching everyone take their turn to open presents, even when it took my little sister !!3HOURS!! to open one gift (I'm clearly exaggerating, but it did take a long time for her to open those gifts). My big favs from my fam included the sewing machine my parents got me (Janna got one too, so we are twinny's) and the cricut cutter machine Jason got me, which I opened at my parents. (I just got to use it for the first time yesterday, and believe me, it is amazing!). The family got some great gifts too! Jason and I got them Rock Band, which wouldn't have done them much good trying to play it on the smallest tv ever... So my parents/everyone pitched in some money, got a BIG SCREEN TV!! It's 60" and 1080p, oh and extremely beautiful! I'm so excited for them!!! Now they can actually see what they are watching! (hehe)
After my parents Christmas we came back to our little apartment and had Christmas with Jason's parents. It was so nice! I got a bunch of long sleeved shirts, candy, a ton of dvd's and tv seasons, and a generous sum of spending money for our trip to Israel.
We went back to my parents house and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and then just lounged around all day, and the next morning we woke up really early and were off to the airport.
Jason and I have been SOOO blessed this past year and we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for everything he gives us. We are so blessed to have the knowledge of the true church in our lives and for eternal families.

Thanks for the details, it was almost as good as being there. Sounds like you had a great trip, too. It sure is fun keeping up with everyone's life through the good ol' blogs.
