Pictures... Seems like that's I all I put on here these days... Oh well.

Janna got to call for Mother's day! We did google+ this year and it turned out really great! Here's the family photo, missing dad and Kate...

Jason's sister Quita was in town over the weekend and we got to see her and the boys. We were excited to finally meet baby Drake! and he did not disappoint! What a cutie!
Jason had fun practicing the infant neuro exam on Drake. They were both full of smiles, it really was extremely cute!

Quita keeping Evie happy by sharing her water.

We went to a farewell party for a family moving to Maine for residency. :( We're gonna miss them!
Here's a picture of the kids. (P.s. this was roughly 10 ish minutes before Evie's bedtime and she was super tired, but she played well with the other kids and wasn't crying or hysterical, so it was a pre-bedtime success)
(Also, I don't know who the girl is holding the ball. As I looked through the pictures I took, I saw Evie with the ball, then it was on the blanket in front of her, then the little girl picked it up, and handed it to Evie. They were playing catch! Really cute!

Little climber....

Evie is getting really good at climbing... She climbed into her sand and water table (which is holding her toys until it gets a bit warmer)

She climbed onto the stool (got this far and started whining because she wanted to stand on the stool)

Climbed onto a chair and then onto the kitchen table.

Ok, this has nothing to do with climbing... We went swimming at a friend's pool. There is an amazing one foot deep area that the babies play on. Evie grabbed ahold of the string hanging from Piper's floatie and walked around holding onto it. It was really funny.

Family visit

My family (my mom and Penny) came to visit us a couple of days after Jason took Step1.

We went shopping... A LOT

We went to the 16th street mall. We almost took a tour of the federal reserve bank, but didn't have time for it. :( maybe next time. We did go to banana, H&M, and other shopping places.
While we were walking we saw Gandalf the grey.

We went to the american girl doll store, Evie tried to get me to buy her some doll shoes then turned her attention to doll strollers. I guess I have a good idea for a Christmas present this year.
After the American Girl Doll Store we went to Castle Rock and visited their outlets. Mostly the Nike outlet. Penny found a bunch of clothes and my mom got Evie some adorable Nike's.

And what would a trip to Denver be without going to Zoo?
Penny trying to be as tall as the Polar bear

Look how tall she is!

Shhh!! (Don't tell my mom about this picture, she might kill me)
Right before the seal show.
It was fun to watch what the seal could do.
First time eating cotton candy, and clearly loving it!
Oooh the bears! (we overheard a little kid telling another little kid that this brown bear was a polar bear... It was quite funny)
The penguin!

Here's Evie trying to get Penny to help her climb the little wall. She was very upset when Penny wouldn't help her.

Real Easter

On Easter, after breakfast, Evie got to look through the Easter bucket... Out of everything in the bucket she loved the eggs the most. She learned hoe to open them on Saturday and remembered that things were hidden inside. She loved opening, emptying, and handing them to me.

I made her a skirt and hair clip for Easter. The night before I remembered she didn't have a shirt or shoes to go with the skirt. I went to target after she went to bed and got her a shirt and a pair of shoes... The shoes ended up being too small so I returned them today :( but I got cheap day after Easter candy! :)
Anyways, back to Easter...

I did a mini egg hunt with Evie. Again she loved finding the eggs and opening them. We got to Skype with both families before putting Evie to bed.

Easter brunch

I wrote a post about Easter brunch, I made sure to save it throughout so if I got kicked out of the app I would still have my draft. Um... Ya, that doesn't help when the app is messed up when you start your draft so when. Thought I was saving it, it didn't. Now I get to attempt to write another one.

We were invited to an Easter egg hunt/brunch at a friend's house. Jason wasn't able to go (he stayed at home and continued to study for the USMLE he is taking on Monday), but we still had a lot of fun.

Brunch was delicious! Quiche, muffins, fruit, and cookies (because what's brunch without cookies!?) everything was fantastic. After brunch the kids went downstairs and played in the amazing playroom. They seriously have such a wonderful playroom!

I tried to take some pictures, then quickly became aware that I forgot my memory card! Duh! Luckily I was able to borrow one and took some pictures.

The egg hunt was so cute. Evie didn't really understand that she was supposed to collect lots of eggs. She would pick one up, open it, and then play with whatever was inside. She did pick up a couple on her own, the rest I had to encourage her to get. We did have fun walking around their backyard. It has a slope and Evie loved walking down it, and then walking up while saying, "up."

Anyways, here are some pictures.

These kids are so cute!
