Evie sure loves heels.

At church with penny.

Getting ready for the family easter egg hunt.

Grabbing all the eggs.

Janna helping Evie collect eggs.
Trying to eat as much as she could before I took it away.

Trying to climb in the hammock ("hammit") with Janna.

Utah trip of Awesome part 2

We got to ride frontrunner up to Salt Lake. We wanted to go to City Creek for some shopping.

Evie sitting with Kate.

Evie pointing to something while sitting with kate.
Evie found makeup and decided to color her face while sitting with kate.

Met a puppet named louie on the frontrunner.

At City Creek. Evie wanted to swim in the water, but settled for sticking her hand in.

Found some pretty flowers at Anthropologie.
Sharing the pretty flowers.

Sitting with grandma on trax.
Waiting for grandpa at the end of trax.

First part of ULTRA Utah trip!

Woke up pretty early to head out to Utah.

Eating an apple at "Dr-ama's."
Helping set the table for dinner our first night there.

Right before we started eating Kate told us she had a surprise for us. (I had asked my dad if they had les mis and he told me "?I dunno? maybe you'll have to wait and see"). She left the room and came back (hidden behind that corner) she waved les mis and we were all like, "ok you weirdo." Then she pulled something else out.  A large white envelope! We were all in shock! Every time anyone would ask if she wanted to go on a mission she would get a little defensive and say it was her choice. Anyways. Only my parents knew! (Kate had invited people over to open it, but only told them that day or day before to keep it a secret.) Stunned it a pretty good word for what we were all feeling, as well as flabbergasted, and dumbfounded. It was a crazy surprise. (The call came the day before Evie and I got there. AMAZING).

Surprising us.
With her envelope. She had family and friends come over right after dinner and opened it. Asuncion, Paraguay. INSANE.

Evie got to ride Kate's horse.

Kate and any map she found while we were there.

Evie chatting with the bruin.

We went to the easter egg hunt the city puts on every year. Evie had so much fun and couldn't wait to get down and get the eggs.

Penny trying to keep her contained until it was time to get the eggs.

Some pretty sweet loot.

Disneyland- December 2012

We got to go to Disneyland the week before Christmas. It was quite an adventure, and we had so much fun!

Waiting for our flight.

Classic John Wayne statue picture.

We got to our hotel when we arrived and they said we couldn't check in until 3 pm. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Evie was not a happy camper. Nap time was around 11 and I was not happy. We were not really pleased with our hotel. Grr. Anyways. We ended up going to In-n-out for lunch, then we went to The Hobbit. (Yes, I took my almost 2 year old to The Hobbit). I got her to fall asleep about 45 minutes into the movie, so I got to watch a little bit of it. She was only asleep for about an hour and then woke up, she was really not happy then. I took her out of the theater and finally calmed her down in the hall. One of the workers at theater came over and thanked me for not having her in the movie while she was crying and gave me a free voucher to see any movie at any AMC theater because I was only able to see a little of the movie. Then, when the movie was over, and we were about to leave, a different worker brought Evie a stuffed Sponge bob toy. It was awesome, and a much better experience than we had with our hotel.
Evie's first time on It's a small world.

Still on It's a small world.

Got to meet Mickey. (She met Minnie first, and even had a pretend tea party with her, but the pictures are on my camera).
Had fun driving Goofy's car!

Riding the carousel.

Getting tired at dinner, but loved the singing during dinner.

Almost fell asleep on the way back to the hotel.

Loved the tiny door after riding the teacups.

Indiana jones ride. (Don't know what's up with the lights on Jason's face...)

Mickey mouse pancake for breakfast, during a crazy downpour of rain.

YUM! Jason got us a mickey sundae!

Grandma insisted Evie get a princess dress to wear for a day! I love it! (I hope she still fits it in October!)

All decorated for Christmas. Even the haunted mansion was still decorated with Jack Skeleton. It was awesome and we sure loved it, especially Jason.
Our biggest regret (if you can call anything at disneyland a regret), was not going to California adventure sooner. Here is Evie and Jason watching the parade right as we got there the last night we were there.

We went on a couple of bugs life rides and then Jason said he found Ghirardelli! We had no idea it was even there! It was amazing! We got hot chocolate, and then went to the sourdough factory across the street and Grandpa, Evie, and I got bowls of soup in sourdough bread. Jason and Grandma went and got corndogs. The food was so good!
Saw this when we were done with our ariel ride... No one would go on it with me! So I had to go by myself, but it was so worth it. The line was ridiculously short, I should have gone twice. It was the best ride!

See, they even put me by myself.

As we were leaving.

The day we left we also went to downtown disney, it was lots of fun and we got Evie a characture.

SAMs Club Deal!

Check out this crazy deal!
Sams club membership, if you sign up through this site, is $45 and they will give you a $20 SAMs club gift card! What's even better is that they will also give you almost $20 worth of food vouchers (rotisserie chicken, cookies, and take and bake pizza)! This is ridiculous! The deal ends tomorrow! MARCH 5! Check it out.

P.s. SAMs club sells Pampers diapers (and I think huggies too) Costoc doesn't. We had a SAMs club card when we first moved here and switched to Costco a year later so we could start getting salmon again. We are excited to have a SAMs card again, Jason also loves their ready to eat ribs (like the rotisserie chicken).

It's like you're paying $5 for a membership, totally worth it. We signed up and also have a Costco card. For us it was a matter of SAMs being closer, and coming with all the bonuses. Totally worth it.
