Residency/ match day

Jason had a special brunch to break the news for match day. They like to freak you out and not even tell you if you've matched until a couple days before the banquet! Jason got an email on the Monday of the week at 10 am exactly letting him know that he matched! Then we had to wait until the Friday to find out where!
We got ready and left the house to go to the Hyatt downtown at around 8 ish. Got there close to 8:45.

Bah! They handed out envelopes at 9:45 and wouldn't let you open them until 10!

Jason finally opened it and I could not tell the emotion on his face! It felt like an eternity and then he finally turned the paper to me. Shock.

Laughter and shock. I couldn't believe it, but knew that prayers had been answered. All of the obvious reason I am clearly excited for. I'm also really excited to be in a more humid place. My poor babies have sensitive skin and it gets pretty dang bad! Hopefully this will help keep their skin under control. I'm excited to get to do disney without the really long travel time with the kids. I'm excited that one of my cousins will be moving in an area close to us around the same time. I'm excited to be more active, hopefully we find a great place to live. There are so many things to be excited for and also a lot of things that we are going to miss about here, but I'll get that in a different post at a later time.

Yes, we took the kids with us. They did pretty well, they got a little antsy toward the end, but did very well overall.

Oops. Another catch up.

It's been a little while and a LOT has happened!

So sweet sleeping!
Evie's eczema got way out of control and we finally went and saw a dermatologist. They really just told us to keep doing what we were doing but keep using the steroid ointment until the rash clears instead of stopping after 7 days.

Grandpa Denny and grandma Rita went to Mazatlan and brought back some great gifts!

We went to voodoo doughnuts. They have some crazy flavors!

It snowed before we went to voodoo and Evie wanted to play in it when we got back.

Not only did we go to the dermatologist, we went to the allergist. Evie does not have food allergies so at least we don't have to worry about that.

We went to The English Teacup with Jason and the kids. It was fun and Evie made some friends with a group of older ladies sitting next to us.

"Mom, I give'd him everyone!" Her kristoff Anna and Elsa dolls. She's so great to share.

We had a frozen party with some of our friends. I thought it turned out great!

These two play pretty well together!

Such a goof! Insisted on wearing my glasses.

Our wonderful neighbors gave us a couple puzzles and Evie loves them! (The puzzles and the neighbors).
