Evie Jan 17, 2014

Evie's princess hair for her Pirate and Princess birthday party.

Dressed as Rapunzel. Trying to rip open these suckers. She is a huge fan of candy, when we got home she ate three of them. Little stinker.
We got her Skully from Jake and the neverland pirates. She loved it!!
The whiplash ride... I called it the spinny ride while we were there, but decided it's more aptly named the whiplash ride. Only a couple of the kids actually loved this ride. Evie and Piper were a couple of the ones that loved it.
The little ferris wheel.
Opening presents.
Riding on the train.
Rita, Jackson, and Jason.
My attempt at a fancy cake. The "gold doubloons" were delicious!

More clowns.
The spinning teacups!
Jackson taking his nap. Decided it was a little too much.
About to cut and eat the cake.

Preschool 2014

They became snowmen.

They got to scoop snow and put it in a snowman jar.
They put a bar of soap in the microwave and it became huge! With the extra soap and the toilet paper used to make the girls snowmen, and a little bit of water, they played with this goop.
Snowman jars.
Equal parts glue and shaving cream. They made night sky pictures with stars, the letter n, and "snow."

Jacks and Evie January 2014

My cute guy!

This girl loves holding her brother. He's even holding her hands in this picture.
Right out of bath Jacks and Evie wanted to be held by Jason.

Love freshly bathed sleeping babies.
He got this hat for Christmas.
Sitting in Evie's favorite spot.
Sitting with no support. Big kid.
Jackson got a new carseat for Christmas. It was in a huge box inside of another huge box (thanks to amazon) so we made a house.

Birthday prep

For Evie's second birthday we were going to have the party at a place called jumpoline, but we decided against it. After that party we decided that for her third party we would celebrate it somewhere not at home. We remembered the jumpoline place and decided to try it out before renting it out.
Evie loved it and it wore her out so it got my vote... although when we got there we had to sign a form stating that if your child died or got seriously injured you couldn't sue them. Umm... Yikes. Hahaha. Jason remembered I had found a couple of places that might be fun for a birthday party last year and decided to look them up again and we would decide between them. One of the options from last year was called monkey'ing around (or something like that), it was like a bunch of kid playhouse structures you could let kids run around in. Then Jason found a place called lollipop park.

Kids jumping area (there were also ropes on each side you could climb and then slide down the trampoline).
Dodge ball.

He showed me pictures of the Lollipop park and we went a couple days later. It's a little amusement park type place for little kids. It's inside a family fun center that has an ice skating rink, a restaurant, go carts, bouncy obstacle course, etc...

They had spinning teacups
Little clowns!
They are both great places and we had a hard time choosing between the two. In the end we let Evie decide. And she chose....

Christmas 2013

Hanging out on the couch holding hands.

So tired.

We went to the pet store and this puppy was one month older than Jackson.

Evie loves playing with the puppies.
Santa came. The kids got entirely too many presents.

Eve and Wall-e mugs.
Evie and her loot.

Jacks and his loot. Evie got all the books and gave this mother goose treasury to her brother. It was very sweet. (He also got a new carseat and an o'ball set)

We got to talk with Kate on Christmas!
Hanging out in their Jammies.

Jason's sister got us these ornaments! They are so cute!

Evie was showing Jackson how to play a game.

Big guy stretching out on the bed in his size 12 month jammies.
Evie and her mooshka sing around the rosie doll she got from aunt Quita.
Jason's aunt sent the kids each and outfit. This is Jacks' he looks so dashing.

Evie in her "Big Sister" shirt and pants.

We had a great Christmas at home with our little family. It was a great somewhat relaxing day. We hung out in our jammies and watched Christmas movies and played with toys. In the afternoon we made dinner and got to talk with Kate. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas and hope that we can remember Christ throughout the year.

Disneyland day two Part two

We spent $8 on that balloon. It was well worth it. It kept Evie from a meltdown a couple of times. It was wonderful.
Jackson was pooped!
Evie in her "crib" with her balloon right before we popped it.
Sleeping again.
At the airport waiting for our flight to Arizona.
In Arizona, waiting for our flight to Denver. I was pleasantly surprised to find that really close to our gate was a children's play area.
While playing, Evie made a friend at the airport, his name was Aldo. Pretty sure the dog was on duty, but was kind enough to say hello to Evie.
So tired and ready to go home.
We reserved super shuttle to get us home from the airport... Well, we waited and waited for the guy, he finally showed up, and it was our turn to get on... Then he said we couldn't use two carseats... We have two children, of course we're gonna use two car seats! He kept telling us one of the kids had to sit on a lap because there wasn't enough room. This really pissed us off. So he wanted us to choose which child we would keep safe in the event of a crash?! I don't think so! I'm too lazy to write the rest so i took a screenshot from when I posted on instagram.
